About El Corazon

Let me introduce you to El Corazon, a Filipino restaurant tucked along 36th St in Taguig, Metro Manila, Philippines, that feels like the kind of place you discover once and then keep recommending to friends. From the moment you arrive, El Corazon gives off a relaxed neighborhood energy, blending local warmth with a casual dining setup that makes you feel instantly comfortable. I like how the space works for different moods, whether you want outdoor seating for breezy evenings or you prefer settling inside for a laid-back dine-in experience, and if you’re short on time, takeaway is also an easy option. The menu leans into Filipino flavors while staying approachable, so it works just as well for first-timers as it does for regulars who already know what they love. Small plates make it simple to share, which is great when you want to sample a bit of everything without committing to one heavy dish. Drinks add to the overall vibe, since you can pair your meal with beer, enjoy a casual glass of alcohol with friends, or slow things down with a cup of coffee that fits right into long conversations. What stands out to me is how El Corazon balances being chill and lively at the same time, making it suitable for quick lunches, relaxed dinners, or spontaneous meetups after work. The location in Taguig keeps it accessible, while the overall atmosphere stays grounded and unpretentious, focusing more on good food, easy service, and a welcoming feel rather than trying too hard to impress. When I talk about El Corazon, I usually describe it as a place where Filipino food, friendly energy, and flexible dining options come together naturally, creating an experience that feels familiar yet still worth talking about for locals and visitors who enjoy food that feels honest, social, and easy to enjoy any day of the week, especially when you want something relaxed but still full of character.

Rated the BEST among the Filipino food restos tried by our US-based Uncle & Aunt, and we all agreed. Right selection of resto & the food. Excellent dishes & service. A bit on the pricey side but we had our fill to the max! Parking was easy as it's inside the mall. Will be back soon & planning to have our Noche Buena here! Happy tummies!

Everything we ordered are good and well seasoned. The crispy pata skin is super crunchy. I highly recommend the pansit, it’s a must try!

The staff was helpful in accomadating our party (6 adults and 1 kid) ... since there was nio available table for our party size they promptly arranged tables for us. The staff is knowledgeable of their menu so asking their opinions was really helpful They don't have platter serving for plain rice (php75 per cup) but platter is available for specialty rice. We ordered Meat&Seafood Platter as well as the Seafood platter. It was really good. The quezo de bola cheesecake is perfectnfor those who aren't into sweet cakes and the Palawan Sansrival cake is for those with sweet tooth.

One of the best paella in town. The crispy pata is not really that crunchy but it is very well marinated. The sauce complimented its juiciness. The sad part is their seafood tinola. Shrimps are overcooked aside from the size of it. Seems like baby shrimp on a diet. Overall, it was a great weekend dining experience with a bonus of the fountain as background.

go-to spots for Filipino-Spanish comfort food. The ambiance is cozy and stylish, and the service is always on point. I especially love their binagoongan and laing—both are packed with flavor and cooked just right. Prices are a bit on the higher side, but the quality and taste of the food make it worth it. Highly recommended if you’re in the area!
